This moving, sensing body

I teach a quiet movement and awareness practice that helps you return to yourself. We explore slow, gentle postures and movements, and spacious rest. The focus is on presence, breath, and ease. This practice is informed by yoga, other somatic work, and the same principles that support my cranio-sacral sessions. It is suitable for anyone who wants a calm, steady space to soften and reconnect.

This is an inside-out approach. You’ll have lots of options in class, with supports such as chairs and blankets, and you’ll work at your own pace. The emphasis is on feeling and learning from your own direct experience.

These classes offer gentle explorations of posture, movement and attention. They are not vigorous exercise. The aim is to cultivate awareness through the body and support a sense of ease. You will be encouraged to follow your own capacity in each moment, without pressure to perform. Options are always available so you can choose what feels right for you.

Information for joining

  • A good internet connection on a computer (not phone)
  • A quiet space with some room to move, where you will not be disturbed
  • A yoga or exercise mat
  • A chair (ideally without arms)
  • Two or three blankets
  • One or two cushions
  • Something to cover your eyes during resting
  • A notebook and pen
  • Water to drink

These classes are online on video call. I will send a link on booking.

Fee for each class is £15, paid by bank transfer. If you wish to pay more or less for any reason, you are welcome to do so. I will send payment information on booking.
